I started doing websites when I was 14 years old in 1995. My building had a computer lab and the college students would use this wonderful tool called the internet. Once, they left their connection up and I got to surf the web for the first time. I was hooked. I begged my father to get MSN. He did and I happily surfed the net, except back then search engines were empty, web sites were one page of text, and everything was new. I am a poet and I decided to build a website for all of my teen poetry. My website was on the cutting edge. It had frames, animated gifs and midi files that I upgraded to real audio. Unfortunately I lost that site in a server crash but I have been building them since. ​
